Coach

Sami joined circus at 7 years of age, and has been actively involved as a student, performer and coach for over 15 years. She has extensive teaching and coaching experience in aerial silks, trapeze, ring and sling, as well as ground-based skills in acro and tumbling. Furthermore, she has organised and facilitated showcases featuring over 100 students that she has coached.

Sami has performed and competed in shows and events across NSW including the Australian Circus Festival, Le Carnivale and Circus Avalon shows from 2012-2019.

Her awards include:

• First place at NSW La Folie for Elite Silks

• First place at NSW Bend the Air for Open Apparatus 18+ on the Sling

• Second place at NSW Miss Lyra for Duo Lyra.

Sami loves working with people of ages, teaching some of our kids, teens and adult classes throughout the week.

Recently she has completed her Bachelor of Primary Education and works casually across a number of schools within the Newcastle Region.

When she isn’t at Three Rings, Sami loves spending time at the beach and travelling with her friends and partner.
