Kids Classes

  • Keep the kids active while having a whole lot of fun!

    For kids aged 7 - 12. Beginners are welcome to all kids sessions, no prior skills necessary!

    These after school sessions are designed to give students a taste of what the circus world has to offer, while they build confidence and friendships.

    Each class has focused time on aerials and ground skills:

    Aerial strength and skill development includes a mix of aerial silks, aerial sling, trapeze and ring.

    Ground circus strength and skill development includes a mix of tumbling, group acrobalance, and activities like unicycling, acro-balancing, juggling, poi, plate spinning, hula hooping and more!

    Each class targets: Gross motor strength (arms, core strength), body awareness, flexibility, motor planning and coordination skills, social skills and team work, and builds confidence in an engaging and fun environment.

    For students with strong circus experience building toward creation of routines and learning more difficult skills.

    Classes involve increased strength and conditioning, while placing a greater emphasis on refining students’ technical skills. Students are given the option to work across a number of aerial apparatuses and ground based skills.

    This class may receive opportunities for community performances.

    Please ask about this class and if it would be suitable, this is an invitation only class.

Teen Classes

  • Develop strength and flexibility in a creative and fun way!

    For teens ages 13 - 17. Tuesday and Thursday classes are suitable for beginners and early intermediates.

  • A new class to support teens who are interested in trying aerials and circus arts for the first time, or are building their strength and skills.

    This is the perfect class to improve your confidence with core skills, and to try with your friends!

Advanced Teens Classes

A look at our teens class!

Adult - Trapeze
(Intermediate +)

  • Taught by our wonderful coach Naomi, Tuesday trapeze is open to adults and teens 15+ at intermediate level.

    The class consists of a warm up, strength and conditioning skills, and then tricks and sequences to build upon each week.

  • Tuesday 5.30pm - 6.30pm

  • This class is aimed at members intermediate - advanced.

    Must be able to hang from your knees on the bar, invert (go upside down) independently, and have some familiarity with aerial circus arts.

    For beginners look at our Adult Beginner/Intermediate class to try things out!

Teen and Adult
Lyra/ Aerial Ring

  • A class for aerial ring/lyra enthusiasts working on strength, technique, and learning new movements on this stunning apparatus.

    The class starts with a warm up, strength and conditioning skills specific to the apparatus. Skill development and flow are worked on, and coaches love to tailor the skills to the interests of the class.

    Open to teens and adults, this class has an amazing supportive atmosphere, all levels are welcome!

Adult Beginner/Intermediate Aerials

  • An intimate class with like minded people who want to try out aerials in a supportive environment. Learn the basics of body awareness, strength development, and foundational aerial skills.

    You will be exposed to multiple apparatuses; silks, trapeze, lyra/aerial ring, aerial sling. We aim for all of our beginner students to feel success during each and every session.

    No strength or flexibility is required - come along and have a try!

Adult Aerials

  • A rotation of aerial silks, aerial sling, aerial ring and trapeze. You will develop strength and flexibility in a creative and fun way!

    The session starts with a warm up and strength work on the aerial silks. From here students are supported in learning skills on any apparatus, focusing on technique and execution.

    Beginners don’t worry!! No prior skills, flexibility or muscles necessary. You’ll have so much fun learning you won’t realise you’re getting fit!

    This class is suitable for all levels and disciplines

  • Tuesday 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Adult - Thursday Int/Adv Vert & Bar

  • For students with strong aerial experience learning more difficult dynamic skills.

    Classes involve increased strength and conditioning, while placing a greater emphasis on refining students’ technical skills. There will be a rotating focus on vertical aerials (silks, cordelise) and bar (trapeze, lyra/ring).

    Please ask about this class and if it would be suitable.

  • Thursday 5.30pm - 7pm

  • Must be able to complete French, Russian and straddle climbs on silks.

    Must be able to invert in the air.

    Must feel confident wrapping for aerial drops on silks.

    Must have some prior experience on trapeze or lyra.

Saturday Mixed Teen/Adult Aerials

  • Open to teen and adult membership holders, these sessions are very popular with our families! Many parents come to train alongside their kids.

    The class begins with a warm up and strength work climbing the silks, before moving to skill development across a range of apparatuses including aerial silks, aerial sling, aerial ring and trapeze. You will develop strength and flexibility in a creative and fun way.

    Beginners don’t worry!! No prior skills, flexibility or muscles necessary! You’ll have so much fun learning you won’t realise you’re getting fit!

    This class is suitable for all levels and disciplines!

  • Saturday 10-11am, 11-12pm

Acro and Handstands

  • Learn to handstand and work on balancing with others from our amazing coaches Todd and Jarrad!

    Acro balance:

    Beginner to advanced, learn to work with others to balance, counter balance, stand and move. This class also has a strong emphasis on strength, flexibility and conditioning.

    Handstands:

    Beginner to advanced, learn to build strength in your shapes, find balance, press to handstand, move through shapes, balance on canes and balance on others!

  • Wednesday 6.30pm-7.30pm

    Saturday 11am-12pm

Private Classes

  • Private classes are available with many of our coaches and cater to all interests and needs.

    We support neurodiverse individuals to access circus arts in a creative way that suits them. We are able to bill through NDIS, please ask us if this would suit you.

    Many of our staff have years of experience coaching, performing and competing throughout Australia and overseas.

    We support students working toward competitions through act development, choreography, and specific apparatus and skill development.

  • Private classes may be scheduled during open training sessions or outside of regular class hours.

Contortion and Tumbling

  • Term based focus classes for contortion and tumbling run each term.

    Please follow the link to the information page about these classes.

    These are recommended for attendance each week for the set weeks for maximum benefit on these particular focus skills.

Open Training

  • Open training is a collaborative training time for members to work on individual skills, group skills, alternative interests, conditioning and stretching.

    During open training you are responsible for your own training and safety. There are always friends around to ask for help!

    Open training is a great way to join in the community! Lots of group activities are always happening!

    There are limited rigging points, so you can ask ahead to reserve one for a specialty apparatus however time limits apply.
