Kara is a paediatric speech pathologist working with children with additional needs. She has been working and performing in circus part-time for 14 years. She has thorough knowledge in aerial silks, ring, trapeze, sling, chains, spinning web and rope (cordelisse) as well as a variety of duo and group-based aerials. She also has developed skills in ground-based arts such as juggling, hula hooping, stilt walking and acro (group and partner(. She also is a certified rigger.
She has performed in shows such as “Candyland”, “Wildside”, “Dressed to Kill”, “OMGWTF”, Circus Opera, “Le Carnivale”, Circus Avalon shows from 2014-2019, and various cabarets and entertainment venues.
Kara has performed and competed in competitions in NSW and interstate.

Kara, along with co-owner Tamara, has used her skills to direct and produce small local performances showcasing unique circus arts and costuming. They co-produced and directed award winning show ‘Candyland’.
Kara is an enthusiastic and energetic coach who loves teaching children and adults of all levels and abilities.
Kara is an avid ultra-marathon trail runner, loves indoor rock climbing, and enjoys sewing and making costumes.
